Buenos Aires, Dec. 15 (NA) – A dangerous fugitive from Santa Fe was captured after attempting to flee in a taxi towards the province of Córdoba. Darío Oscar M., better known as Cheche, is accused of various crimes in Cañada de Gómez. The Investigations Police (PDI) carried out an operation on the Rosario-Córdoba highway between the localities of Tortugas (Santa Fe) and General Roca (Córdoba), managing to arrest Cheche following intelligence operations on his movements. With the intervention of Prosecutor Santiago Tosco, from the Cañada de Gómez Prosecutor's Office, “officers began surveillance at the mentioned address, managing to observe that the suspect was heading towards Córdoba.” In this way, the PDI set up an operation on the Rosario-Córdoba highway, which allowed them to discover he was traveling as a passenger in a white Chevrolet Prisma car. Additionally, officers seized approximately $4 million and 100 dollars, as well as other items that were handed over to the Public Prosecutor's Office.
